Every year we stumble on something remarkable in science or in particular theories. Always interesting to listen and try to understand.

Right now I’m currently working on an art project that is basically balancing out the design of the dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals of the Jurassic Park/world franchise and I was wondering if I could use your photos as reference material I promise that I’ll credit you for it please

Given you are more informed on Tyrannosaurids than I, I was wondering if off the top of your head you knew where I might find information, pictures, and measurements for specific specimens of Tyrannosaurus rex and its relation regarding forelimb dimensions? I know of some specimens like BHI-6230 a.k.a Wyrex, but I was wondering if you had a list or specimen guide? I'm doing some measurement ratio comparisons between individuals and genera, and I'd need a list to draw measurements from.
Unfortunately i dont have any measurements on top of my head

Depends on wich specimen you are looking for?
The best thing you can do is to download the official abstracts / descriptions of these specimens.

And Scott Hartman have very accurate good reconstructions and you also have Franoys a graudated paloentologist here on Deviant Art who makes alot of skeletal reconstruction he might have some information about these forelimbs.

For the forelimbs alone i assume you talking about the humerus /sternum /radius.

Carpenter released a paper many years ago in regards of locomotion but i dont remember the exact measurement for the specific specimen but here is the paper
www.researchgate.net/publicati…

Keep in mind that these forelimbs are very scarce and disarticulated. FMNH 2081 (Sue) and  More 555 (Wankel) is for now the only "almost complete" we have and the rest is at best reconstructed material.

And for the future Thomas Carr is coming out with a book wich will offer great insight in regards of measurements of each bones.

Hope this will help you.

Thanks! I'm sure this will help. One specimen I'm looking for in particular is Wyrex given its preserved arms. I'm aware it's numbers are off given it seems to have had part of its tail torn off, but I'm more interested in general height and proportions. Hartman's work is a great resource and what I'm trying to do is scale some specimens and genera against each other.
